The trichloroacetic acid (TCA) 15% is a very effective peeling for intermediate and deeper peels indicated for the correction of the wrinkles, superficial acne scars and pigmentation problems (melasma). This acid can cause an abundant desquamation it should only be used by professionals. Choose TCA for longer lasting results on mild to moderate photoaging, acne, hyperpigmentation issues, superficial acne scarring.

HOW TO USE

Client must be prepped previously with alpha hidroxy acid peels. The day of the TCA pee, the skin is degreased thoroughly with our Pre-Peel Solution using a alcohol pad. The TCA solution is applied with 2×2 gauze pads, cotton balls, or Q-tips. (2×2 gauze pads are preferred). Apply solution in a pre-determined sequential manner starting at the forehead, moving around to the temples, cheeks, chin, and nose. Stinging sensation is normal. TCA peels are applied in coats but we recommend one coat always the first session. Technician should observe level of frosting but also the duration of this reaction before proceeding. If applying several layers (medical level), wait 3 minutes between layers. Once desired frosting is achieved, our Cryogenic Peel Off mask or cool water compresses may be used to relieve the client. Unlike glycolic peels, water does not neutralize TCA, it only helps comfort the patient. After stinging subsides. Apply thin layer of petrolatum ointment and give client our Nova Hydra cream with hyaluronic acid as well as our hyaluronic acid serum. Make sute client uses sunblock at all times.
