• Horse chestnut seed extract: is used for its vasoprotective, anti-inflammatory and draining properties in dermocosmetic products aimed at treating imperfections of the lower limbs, such as edema, cellulite and microcirculation defects.
• Centella asiatica: is useful for preventing and treating venous insufficiency, swelling and the resulting heaviness in the legs and ankles. The triterpene saponins (asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassoside), which centella leaves are rich in, improve venous circulation by stimulating the broblasts. The latter synthesize collagen, essential for the health of the dermis, connective tissue and vessel walls.
• Carrot extract: particularly rich in beta-carotene, precursor of vitamin A, a precious antioxidant. It prevents the formation of wrinkles by restoring the hydration and tone of the tissue.
